Arena Season 2 delayed for 1 week and Testrealm Patchnotes

In news by MyrddinLeave a Comment

As psoted by Drysc on the official World of Warcraft Forum the Arena Season 2 ha been delayed 1 week and will start on the 19th of June. The Reason was the introduction of a new patch. As we mentioned in our initial announcement of the second arena season, the start of the next season is planned to coincide with the release of a small patch. Due to additional development time and testing needed we will be delaying the scheduled release of the patch, and thus the start of Arena Season 2 by one week, to June 19. This current schedule is of course subject to change as well. Also, don't forget that team ratings will be reset to the default 1500 with the start of the new season, allowing all teams to once again compete for top honors with a fresh start. – Drysc You can read the Patch Notes here. Massive Druid Nerf incoming. WoW Patch 2.0.10

In news by MyrddinLeave a Comment

The last week I leveled my Druid to Level 70. It is quite hard to get into instances with the Rogue and everybody was looking for a Healer or Tank it seemed like a very good idea to get the Druid to 70. Within the hour of reaching 70 the new Path Notes were published. I am not a good healer, just a decent tank and with the patch Blizzard takes away a lot of threat generation for us. Thus I am not happy at all with the Patch. Also the Rogue changes – there are none. The Burning Crusade Several years have passed since the Burning Legion's defeat at the Battle of Mount Hyjal – and the races of Azeroth have continued to rebuild their once shattered kingdoms. General A stirring of events has begun throughout Azeroth and rumor points to the Dark Portal as its source. Mazk Snipeshot in Booty Bay now sells bullets. The Auction House now sorts by buyout price first, then by current price. This should filter all of the items with outlandish buyout prices to the bottom of the list. World of Raids publishes more Tier V – Sets

In news by Myrddin1 Comment

World of Raids has published more Tier 5 Sets on their forum. Click here to jump to the thread. They are including all sets on all Races and Genders as soon as they come available. Really awesome work World of Raids. You can argue about taste, but I think the current Tier III is much nicer. Compare Dradnaught Armor to Warrior one which is just plain ugly. And then there is still the Skeletor-look of the Rogue set. Just the Warlock Tier V Set looks really really great, especially on orc.

Patch 2.0.1 hits the Test Realms (patch notes included)

In patches by MyrddinLeave a Comment

The Patch 2.0 with the new honor system, 41 point talents and many more changes has been uploaded to the public test realms. Since these are feature that will most likely go live I have added the patch notes for Your convenience. There are many changes I really like, while I completely detest others. For example, why did they change the +skill from weapons? It was the main reason I rerolled a human rogue. But now for +0,5% increased crit chance on higher level mobs its hardly worth it anymore. Big human nerf in my eyes :-/ ——————————————————————————– – World of Warcraft Test Patch 2.0.1 ——————————————————————————– General All players will have talent points reimbursed and will have access to new talents throughout their trees; this includes the 41-point talents. Several new abilities have also been added for all classes. All pets now receive a percentage of their master’s armor, spell damage, spell resistances, attack power, and stamina. Low-level spells cast by high-level players will receive smaller bonuses from +healing and +spell damage. HoTs, DoTs, and channeled spells have been re balanced to receive a more appropriate (higher) percentage of +spell damage and +healing. HoTs from different sources will now stack …
