Last night we got a new (surprise) Build – 15689. Main reason behind this build was to re-enable the 64-bit client that got bugged last week. Sadly since the shaman changes are scarce so there isn’t much to show, even this build has only some minor tweaks to glyphs. One of them being a new Ghost Wolf appearance, the large Spectral Wolf.
Sorry about the delay! It wasn’t in my hands, the stability of the European Beta Realm crossed my plans of presenting Ascendance as soon as possible. The most recent build 15589 caused severe issues and the realm crashed in 5-10 minute intervals, followed by unresponsive login servers. But finally all these issues have been overcome and I was able to level to 87 and here it is, the Ascendant of Air!
There haven’t been many changes so far in the new Easter Build. A few bug fixes, improved mana situation and and insane Buff to healing. Feral Spirit’s new ability Spirit Strike was something I was looking forward a lot.
The launch of Patch 4.3 is imminent, meaning it is a good time to look at the changes that are coming for us. A few weeks back I already wrote about this subject and not many things have changed, I suggest you take a look here first.
At Blizzcon 2011 in Anaheim Blizzard Entertainment revealed the new World of Warcraft Expansion Mists of Pandaria. The first day of Panels gave a first glimpse at the changes we are going to have to expect and a few stunning surprises.
A few weeks ago Blizzard asked – class specific – which kind of changes players would like to see. For us Enhancement Shamans many posts were about Searing Flame, target swapping, AoE, underperforming vs ranged classes and the like. This raised high expectations. Now that 4.3 hit the PTR we can have a first look at what is new.
Patch 4.2 has been announced to release next reset, at the 28th June. Apart from all the changes that you can read up on here we will look at the Enhancement Shaman specific changes. You may have wondered that the site hasn’t been updated, bt the ugly truth is, there was nothing to announce for our class. Until the Q/A was filled up with complaints about our current status. Interesting enough, 24h hours later Enhancement Shamans got announced and it was it was a buff.
The recent lack of news postings isn’t due to slacking. There is simply not much to say about the state of Enhancement Shamans these days. During PTR already I posted about the Fire Nova changes, which are so awkward to use, and no other changes affect us, yet.
