In summer 2011 the MMO-Game Network development has begun. It is an extension to myrddin.de which was started in 1992 and eventually turned into a specialized source on World of Warcraft with focus on Enhancement Shaman content.
There have always been pages with great content that just vanished and their content was lost. Originally myrddin.de was thought as quick reference to these kind of sources. But then I started to write my own posts, about progress, tipps, bugs, topics that were too specialized for the big sites to mention. Basically a site for the advanced shaman, looking to optimize his gameplay.
The Cataclysm Expansion provided updates and new content slower than ever before which resulted in a lack of subjects to write about. Repeating stuff over and over, like other sites, is not this site’s policy. The resulting spare time was invested in the advancement of a new site, with a possibility to write about a huge variety of topics, the MMO-Game Network.
The past weeks main focus has been this site’s performance and functionality. The next step is to juice up the design and usability before returning to new content.
